Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Inverter Repair Technician to troubleshoot, test, and repair inverter equipment and provide on-site service across North and South America. The role requires reading schematics, handling depot repairs, and delivering technical support while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrical / Electronic Field Service experience.
• Knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and travel up to 20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and repair inverter equipment per Konecranes standards.
• Maintain and service inverters and related equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform remote on-site customer services across North and South America.
• Depot level repair, testing and recertification of inverters.
• Provide technical support to customers and technicians on site.
• Document and complete reports after each job.
• Follow safety rules and perform root cause analysis on failures.
• Prepare proposals and pricing for customer repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers, independently or in teams.
• Maintain company equipment, vehicle and assets in safe condition.
