Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking an inventory auditor to verify merchandise, cash and inventory across multiple stores in the region. You will use handheld computers to perform counts and ensure accuracy.

This role requires 1 year of inventory auditing or retail convenience store experience, a valid driver’s license, and occasional overnight travel to audits. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to procedures and promoting accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment.
• Valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each store using a handheld computer.
• Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise.
• Count and verify cash assets on site.
• Verifies money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits.
• Verifies gasoline inventory.
• Performs surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Works in a safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Performs multi-tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Travels to different cities for audits.

• Verifies merchandise and cash in each of the Company stores by conducting a physical count using a hand held computer
• Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise
• Count and verify cash assets on site
• Verifies money orders, lottery ticket inventory and bank deposits
• Verifies gasoline inventory
• Performs surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures
• Works in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Performs multi-tasks in a fast paced environment
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Travel to and from different cities for audits
