Job summary

Circle K in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Inventory Auditor to travel daily to stores within the assigned area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise and cash. You will collaborate with Store Managers to review audit results and report observations to the Audit Supervisor and Operations Management.

Hours are 5:30am until finish, Monday through Friday. The role requires a valid driver's license, 1 year of inventory auditing or retail experience, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs while

This Position will serve Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas.

Travels daily to stores with own vehicle within assigned areas to conduct physical inventories of store merchandise utilizing a handheld scanner. Upon completion of the audit, the auditor works with the Store Managers to review the audit results and communicates the results and observations to the Audit Supervisor and Operations Management.

Hours: 5:30am - Finish M-F

As an Inventory Auditor, you will be responsible for:

• Verifying merchandise and cash in each of the Circle K Company stores by conducting a physical count using a handheld computer
• Notifying store managers of wrong prices and pull out-of-code merchandise.
• Counting and verifying cash assets on site.
• Verifying money orders, lottery tickets inventory and bank deposits.
• Verifying gasoline inventory.
• Perform surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
• Working in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Working independently with little supervision.
• Performing multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
