Job summary

Orchestra BioMed is seeking a Field Procedural Specialist to support critical trial activities in the field. The role involves identifying centers, building relationships, training staff, and providing direct technical support during interventional cardiology procedures, with substantial travel.

The successful candidate will live within 15 miles of the posting city and travel up to 80%. A nursing or scientific background with GCP/ISO14155 knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree nursing or other relevant scientific discipline strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs or equivalent.
• Experience with clinical research processes for interventional medical device trials preferred.
• Experience providing expert level consultation and training to internal/external colleagues.
• Strong imaging experience in the cardiac arena.
• Good understanding of GCP and ISO 14155 standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential study centers and build relationships to recruit patients.
• Provide direct technical support during interventional cardiology procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and complete projects on schedule.
• Operate and maintain study equipment per policies.
• Assist in documentation in case report forms during trials.
• Track site performance for patient recruitment and timely responses.
• Maintain documentation on product-related issues and train staff on device equipment.
• Travel up to 80% as required.
