Job summary

Orchestra BioMed is seeking a Field Procedural Specialist in the New York area to support and manage critical trial activities in the field. You will identify prospective study centers, build relationships, and recruit patients while providing direct technical support during interventional procedures.

The role requires living within 15 miles of the posting city and entails significant travel (up to 80%). You will train medical staff on device equipment and help ensure on-time project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree nursing or other relevant scientific discipline strongly preferred.
• Experience in Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs or equivalent in industry.
• Experience managing clinical research processes for interventional medical device trials (cardiology preferred).
• Ability to train internal and external colleagues.
• Strong imaging experience in the cardiac arena.
• GCP and ISO 14155 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll patients by partnering with study centers.
• Provide direct technical support during interventional cardiology procedures.
• Plan, coordinate and complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain study equipment per procedures.
• Assist with case report forms and trial documentation.
• Track site performance and respond to data requests.
• Train staff on device equipment and serve as first point of contact for technical questions.
• Travel up to 80%.
