Job summary

Kemper is seeking licensed life and health insurance agents to join our field sales team in Plaquemine, Louisiana. This full-time role involves visiting customers, presenting Kemper Life products, collecting premiums, and growing a book of business with performance-based pay.

Qualified candidates will be licensed to sell Kemper Life products, have customer service experience, and hold a valid driver’s license. A sign-on bonus and achievable commissions support strong earnings and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life’s products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating home visits and conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule you determine.
• Responding to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork.
