Job summary

Kemper Corporation in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our field sales team. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus and uncapped commissions, with income tied to performance and a structured rewards program.

You will visit clients to review coverage, present Kemper Life products, and help families protect what matters most. A valid license across Kemper Life products is required, along with excellent customer service and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be fully licensed to sell all Kemper Life’s products (Life, Health, P&C).
• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating home visits and conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork.
