Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in Brandon, FL is looking for a full-time Insurance Sales Associate to grow the branch's insured portfolio through consultative selling and local community engagement. You will manage sales and ongoing service for insurance, memberships, and financial products, while building trust with clients and referrals.

You’ll be licensed and supported with ramp, training, and a competitive benefits package. Expect a performance-based earning structure with base pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.
• Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
• Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced, computer-automated business environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products.
• Uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow the insurance portfolio.
• Overcome objections, negotiate effectively, close sales, and meet or exceed targets and incentive plan.
• Conduct insurance reviews to assess risk, identify gaps, and quote, bind, and issue policies per underwriting rules.
• Build and maintain rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries professionally and urgently.
• Prospect, engage in community events, expand referral networks, and identify cross-sell opportunities.
