ONEOK is seeking an Instrumentation Technician – Intermediate to support the safe, reliable operation of instrumentation, switchgear, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and related control systems at Lemont, IL. This role installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates and maintains equipment and supports DOT-covered functions where applicable.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on instrumentation and electrical experience, preferably with switchgear and PLC programming.

Qualifications

Associate degree or certificate in electronics, electrical engineering, or similar preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Hands-on instrumentation and electrical experience; exposure to switchgear and PLC programming preferred.
Ability to work independently and in teams; strong safety practices in hazardous environments.

Responsabilités

Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
Operate and maintain SCADA, DCS, PLC systems, analyzer equipment, transmitters, VFDs and related gear.
Maintain records, support DOT-covered functions as applicable, and respond to safety or equipment concerns.
Drive and maintain company vehicle; participate in on-call rotation; ensure compliance with safety standards.
