Job summary

Salt Lake Community College in Utah is seeking adjunct field instructors for the Ski Lift Maintenance Technician Level I program. The successful candidates will supervise and evaluate students using real-world maintenance experience from Utah ski resorts, and support risk management and ropeway systems instruction.

Adjunct instructors work with program coordinators to deliver curriculum, coach and assess student performance, and coordinate across SLCC locations.

Qualifications

• Three to seven years of experience leading Ski Lift/Ropeway maintenance and technician teams.
• Certifications and/or training in Ski Lift/Ropeway Maintenance required.
• Experience teaching in an applied setting, mentoring junior Ski Lift/Ropeway technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead ski lift/ropeway maintenance teams and deliver course curriculum.
• Teach, coach, and evaluate students on risk management, maintenance, inspection standards, and operations.
• Collaborate with coordinators and lead instructors to assess weekly on-the-job assignments and progress.
