Job summary

Savaria Residential Elevators, Baxter Residential Elevators division, Frisco, TX, is seeking a Field Installation and Project Coordinator to manage field installation and projects from award through turnover. The role reports to the Director of Sales and requires coordination with installation crews and internal teams for on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or technical trade is a must with the ability to read house plans and technical drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
• Very competent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and other MS products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
• Assist installation crews with scheduling for efficient installation.
• Coordinate contract activities from project award through completed installation.
• Participate in weekly project status meetings and report on backlog progress.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Communicate proactively with general contractors, owners, building managers, architects, designers and regulatory authorities regarding project design, preparation, and scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with internal staff, and senior leadership to ensure project success from both financial and customer perspectives.
• Identify and alert management of potential project risks, issues and discrepancies.
• Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize project management tools to track timelines, deliverables, and performance.
