Field Installation Technician

About This Position

Job Summary

The Field Installation Technician is responsible for assembling, staging, and installing signage throughout the Atlanta Metro area. This role operates out of a satellite location and requires a high level of independence, organization, and accountability. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing their schedule, preparing materials in advance, and representing Duncan-Parnell professionally in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install several types of signs in the Atlanta/Norcross area, with local travel as required
• Represent Duncan-Parnell professionally during on-site customer interactions
• Safely and efficiently operate tools and equipment
• Maintain and organize the Atlanta satellite storage space, including receiving shipments from the Charlotte hub and ensuring materials are secure and job‑ready
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
• Interpret maps, construction plans, and assembly instructions
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and job protocols
• Prepare for installations by reviewing scope, staging materials, and pre‑assembly of signage at the satellite location to ensure jobs are ready for efficient delivery and installation
• Receive, verify, and stock incoming shipments
• Pick up signage from the Charlotte NC Hub as needed
• Document completed installations with photos
• Communicate proactively with the team on job status, scheduling and complete billing paperwork
• Install exterior and interior signage, including posts, banners, acrylics, wayfinding signs, logos, and graphics
• Operate lifts (scissor, boom) as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements
