Job summary

Savaria Patient Care is seeking an Installation & Service Technician to install, service and perform preventative maintenance on Handicare products across the U.S. The role includes site surveys, installation audits and coordination of product delivery with labor resources. Candidates must have construction experience and be located in the Minneapolis–St.

Paul metro area. The position requires travel up to 80% and involves working with hospitals, long-term care facilities and private residences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3–5 years of related experience and/or training; construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Handicare ceiling track lift systems and other products per Handicare standards.
• Perform on-site surveys to gather information for installation planning.
• Conduct on-site audits of installations for compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate delivery of products and materials with labor resources.
• Travel up to 80% of the time to national job sites as directed.
