Job summary

BEUMER Group seeks a Sr. Site Installation Supervisor to lead field installation of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems at airport environments. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating subcontractors, managing labor budgets, and maintaining schedule alignment with project management and trade partners.

The role emphasizes safety, quality standards, and timely turnover, with travel up to 80–90% as business needs require, and a strong on-site presence for effective execution.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of baggage handling system (BHS) project installation, retrofit, or expansion experience.
• Project management experience in large-scale installations or airport environments.
• Demonstrated leadership of mechanical, electrical, and controls field teams in active settings.
• Strong knowledge of phased installations, shutdown planning, tie-ins, and live cutovers.
• Ability to monitor labor budgets, forecast field production, and support cost-to-complete reporting.
• Experience facilitating weekly schedule meetings and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on daily supervision of field crews and subcontractors.
• Lead daily task planning, crew assignments, and short-interval execution sequencing.
• Monitor labor performance, installation productivity, and expenses against plan.
• Support weekly cost-to-complete discussions and budget forecasting.
• Participate in and lead weekly schedule meetings and trade coordination sessions.
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, phased cutovers, and operational work windows.
• Manage site logistics including material staging and equipment availability.
• Ensure work complies with safety requirements, permits, and quality standards.
• Support commissioning readiness, punch list completion, and turnover milestones.
• Role may support airports segment or logistics projects as needed.
