Field Installation Engineer

The Opportunity:

CCA has an immediate need for several Field Installation Engineers to support our mission-critical program. These positions are home-based, with travel to sites required up to 100%.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems
2. Install raceway and conduit infrastructure
3. Terminate Cat-6 cables, coaxial cables, and splice Fiber as required
4. Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and device mounting hardware
5. Complete device and component installation activities
6. Execute installation activities within planned durations
7. Read and understand schematics and technical documentation
8. Configure programmable system components
9. Perform testing and evaluation at the component and system levels
10. Configure ports on network equipment
11. Maintain accurate project documentation
12. Install low voltage security systems for Government clients, including troubleshooting, service, and repair of security equipment
13. Check operational quality of solution components and instruct customers in operation and maintenance

Qualifications:

Required:

• Possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work at heights up to 45 feet
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, lifts, and ladders
• Ability to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, and reach overhead regularly

Desired:

• 2+ years experience in electronic security systems or related field
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP
• Experience operating personnel lifts
• Basic knowledge of electrical conduit installation

Pay Range:

The salary varies based on location, experience, skills, and other factors. The proposed range is $47,100 - $96,500. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and education support.

This position may be based in multiple locations; the salary range reflects the national average.
