Job summary

Blue Rhino, part of Ferrellgas, seeks a Full-Time Field Installation Specialist to install, repair, and maintain propane tank exchange displays at retail locations. You will load and deliver propane, ensure safety, and maintain records for compliance.

You’ll work with local routes, be home nightly, and support customers with reliable service. CDL B with hazmat/tanker is required; strong safety mindset and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• CDL Class B with hazmat and tanker endorsement.
• Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains retail displays for customers.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane (<= 1,000 lbs).
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Prepares and maintains records according to regulations and company procedures; operates the truck safely.
• Offers exceptional customer service and answers inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains Blue Rhino displays for retail customers.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations (limited to 1,000 lbs or less)
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
• During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Commercial driver’s license Class B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsement.
• Speak, read, and legible write fluent English.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
