Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a Full-Time Field Installation Specialist in Taneytown, MD to install, repair, and maintain propane tank exchange equipment for retail partners. This hands-on role keeps propane operations safe and running smoothly, with daily customer interaction.

You will load/unload propane up to 1,000 lbs, inspect equipment and vehicle, document records, and deliver excellent service. CDL B with hazmat/tanker endorsements and fluent English are required; U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience.
• Fluent English, able to read and write clearly.
• Valid U.S. work status and citizenship eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains propane displays for retail customers.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane (≤1,000 lbs).
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Prepares and maintains records; operates truck safely.
• Provides exceptional customer service during daily interactions.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and maintains Blue Rhino displays for retail customers.
• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations (limited to 1,000 lbs or less)
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Operates truck in accordance to established safety procedures.
• During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Commercial driver's license Class B CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsement.
• Speak, read, and legible write fluent English.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
