Job summary

Integrity Fire Safety Services in Basalt, Colorado seeks a Test & Inspect Technician to perform scheduled inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire and life safety systems. You will ensure NFPA compliance and manufacturer specs while delivering excellent customer service.

You will handle documentation, report deficiencies, and coordinate follow-up repairs with service teams. The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, NICET preferred, and willingness to travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of inspection, testing, or service experience in fire and life safety systems.
• NICET Level I or II in Fire Alarm Systems, Water-Based Systems Inspection & Testing, or Special Hazards preferred.
• Backflow certification.
• State or local licenses as required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and functional testing on fire alarm, sprinkler, special hazard, fire extinguishers and other life safety systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Verify proper operation of devices, control panels, and suppression/discharge mechanisms.
• Conduct main drain, flow, trip, and alarm tests as applicable.
• Identify system deficiencies and provide recommendations for corrective action.
• Complete detailed inspection and testing reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain clear records of deficiencies, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Provide necessary documentation to customers and AHJs.
