This role involves independent work on less complex construction activities and assisting experienced inspectors on roadways and bridges through field inspections, including potential night shifts in varied weather conditions. Responsibilities include detailed reporting, daily forms, safety and contract compliance per OSHA standards, and coordination with clients and contractors.

Qualifikationen

• 0–2 years of construction inspection experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Basic math including geometry and trigonometry.
• Fluent reading, writing, and communication.
• Teamwork and daily reports (hand/computer).
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass required certifications.

Aufgaben

• Perform field inspections on roadway and bridge projects.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and daily forms.
• Review work for completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
• Maintain records, measure field quantities, and conduct tests for compliance.
• Submit accurate timesheets, mileage, and expense reports weekly.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance on site.
