Job summary

Telgian is seeking an experienced Fire and Life Safety Field Inspector to join our Boise, ID team. You will perform testing and inspections for assigned customers and submit accurate reports.

You will start with Telgian’s exclusive Field Inspector Training (FIT) program, then shadow a fellow inspector and interact with the Regional Field Supervisor. This full-time role requires regular travel up to 75% and home-base at the office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of field fire inspection experience.
• NICET II certification in fire alarm & testing preferred.
• Licenses in sprinkler & alarm inspections in WA/Seattle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing & inspections for assigned customers and submit reports.
• Communicate all work order status changes to Customer Support.
• Interface with internal/external customers to resolve conflicts; identify ways to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Attend Field Inspector Training (FIT) program and shadow a fellow inspector; regular interactions with Regional Field Supervisor.
• Telgian provides necessary tools (computers, tablet, phone, printer, etc.) to set you up for success.

• Perform Testing & Inspections for assigned customers and submit appropriate reports.
• Communicate all work order status changes to our Customer Support team.
• Interface with internal customers and external customers (as requested) to resolve conflicts relating to survey and report deliverables; and Identify ways to reduce cost, improve productivity and quality in the delivery of our service.
• To set you up for success, you will get started in your new role by attending Telgian’s exclusive Field Inspector Training (FIT) program followed by job-shadowing one of your fellow inspectors and regular interactions with the Regional Field Supervisor.
• Telgian will provide all the necessary tools to set you up for success including computers, tablet, phone, printer, etc.

Job Location:

• Office is your home base
• Must be available for Regular Travel up to 75%
