Job summary

Ezee Fiber is seeking an OSP Construction Inspector to oversee the installation and construction of outside plant facilities for telecommunications networks. You will ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to meet deadlines and budgets.

The role requires 3+ years in OSP construction, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fiber optics certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience or training in OSP construction and installation.
• Knowledge of industry standards and specifications; able to read and interpret plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction and installation of outside plant facilities.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and industry standards; follow current network design.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to meet timelines and budget.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Identify and resolve issues arising during construction.
• Ensure crews are identified as contractors (ID badges, vests, magnets).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of construction activities.
• Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Communicate with peers and departments for proper project planning.
