Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Associate Industrial Hygienist to support a Mining IH practice from the Lakewood, CO office. The role involves fieldwork, sampling, reporting, and client communication with approximately 50% travel to client sites within the U.S.

The successful candidate will perform IH assessments, contribute to EH S projects, and develop technical reports while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements. Growth opportunities exist within a expanding Earth & Environment team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering or related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience working as an Industrial Hygienist.
• Proficiency with IH sampling techniques and equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead IH-related field assignments such as monitoring and assessments.
• Assist senior staff in EHS audits and program development.
• Document field data clearly using PPE and equipment.
• Analyze field data and prepare written reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
• Meet project deadlines and maintain quality.
