Job summary

WSP in Colorado is seeking an Associate Industrial Hygienist to join our Mining Industrial Hygiene practice, based in Lakewood. You will support IH and EHS projects, participate in fieldwork, sampling, reporting, and client communications.

The role requires 1–3 years of IH experience, proficiency with IH sampling techniques and equipment, and knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations. Expect up to 50% travel to client sites and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or Safety Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience as an Industrial Hygienist.
• Proficiency with IH sampling techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA laws and regulations.
• Willingness to pursue CSP, CIH, PE, CHMM or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead IH field assignments including monitoring, noise assessments, and surveys.
• Assist with EHS program development and audits.
• Document field observations clearly using PPE and equipment.
• Analyze data and prepare written reports and visualizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
• Complete required training and adhere to policies.
