Job summary

Starr and Company, Inc. in Honolulu seeks an Industrial Equipment Technician to install, repair, test, and recondition a range of equipment including air compressors, boilers, burners, and hoists.

Under the Service Manager, you will perform highly skilled work with limited supervision and may travel on company-paid assignments. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, be fluent in English, own suitable hand tools, and hold a Hawaii driver's license; forklift certification within 60

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Must own hand tools suitable for the work noted above.
• Must have a valid Hawaii driver's license with good driving record.
• Forklift certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• At least 2–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, recondition, repair industrial equipment and adjust components.
• Perform diagnostic tests on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic controls from DC to AC.
• Meet flat rate as established by industry standards.
