Job summary

Aireon LLC seeks a hands-on Equipment Mechanic for our Hawaii operations. You will inspect, maintain and repair exchangers, vessels, and related plant equipment, and support painting, pipefitting, and routine maintenance tasks.

The role requires reading manuals and following safety procedures in a hands-on setting. Candidates should have at least two years in related industrial work, strong physical fitness, and a High school diploma with trade school education.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in related industrial work.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals.
• Good physical condition with strength for heavy labor.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair exchangers, vessels and plant equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and installation of lagging.
• Take temperatures and vibrations for preventative maintenance.
• Assist in painting pipelines, vessels and buildings.
• Perform minor pipefitting tasks as required.
• Read and interpret manufacturers' repair/maintenance manuals.
• Care for cleanliness of work areas and use hand tools safely.
