Job summary

CROM, LLC in High Point, NC seeks a Paint & Coatings Laborer to perform field painting duties on commercial and industrial projects. You will follow directions from the Project Manager and Superintendent, work in shop and on sites, and travel with overnight stays as needed.

The role requires basic construction experience, ability to climb and work at heights, and compliance with safety procedures including PPE, fall protection, respirators, background check, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Some construction experience in water/wastewater or industrial painting preferred.
• Basic construction skills including concrete and carpentry are a plus.
• Ability to work at different heights.
• Background check, drug screening, Pulmonary Function Test, and Fit Test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field work in commercial and industrial painting according to project directions.
• Develop a basic understanding of tools, materials, and equipment for coatings and linings.
• Master surface preparation techniques to ensure substrate integrity.
• Learn repair techniques for secondary containment systems and protective barriers.
• Travel to job sites; work in shop and field; follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
