Job summary

The Crom Corporation is seeking a Paint & Coating Laborer for full-time work in Pinehurst, TX. You will contribute to commercial and industrial painting projects and field surface preparation at varying heights, with training in safety and coating techniques.

Responsibilities include learning coatings applications, performing surface prep, and assisting senior personnel. Travel to job sites and adherence to safety protocols are required; opportunities exist to advance within one year.

Qualifications

• Some construction experience in water/wastewater or industrial painting preferred.
• Must be able to work at different heights off the ground.
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, Pulmonary Function Test, and Fit Test.
• Must be a team player and able to work well with a diverse group of personnel.
• Must be able to pass the Services Field Advancement Level 1 Exams and advance to Technician I within one year of employment.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies regarding advanced coatings and application methods.

Responsibilities

• Execute and perform field work including Commercial and Industrial Painting and surface preparation.
• Develop a basic understanding of tools, materials, and equipment involved in coatings and linings for concrete and steel water infrastructure.
• Master surface preparation techniques, including pressure washing and sandblasting, to ensure substrate integrity.
• Learn and apply repair techniques for secondary containment systems and protective barriers.
• Perform repairs, cleanings, and modifications of concrete and steel water infrastructure under senior guidance.
• Follow directions of senior personnel during the work process.
• Other duties as assigned.
