Job description

About Odin

Odin Labs, Inc. (\"Odin\") is the workforce visibility and compliance platform powering the next generation of infrastructure. As demand accelerates for AI data centers, clean energy projects, and large-scale construction, Odin provides the operational backbone for real-time workforce tracking, credential verification, site access, and compliance management. We experienced more than 7x revenue growth from 2024 to 2025, and 2026 has already surpassed 2025 growth.

Odin's growth is driven by rapid expansion and adoption of our software platform across complex, high-compliance construction environments. As we continue to see strong market momentum and a growth in complex construction programs, Odin is preparing for its next stage of scale.

About the Role

We're hiring a Field Implementation Specialist to deploy Odin's platform on customer job sites across the country. You'll travel to sites to install, configure, and validate Odin's hardware and software. You'll work with general contractors, site security managers, third-party integrators, and Odin's own ambassadors to get everything working before the customer expects it to. When something doesn't work in the field, you fix it or you know exactly what to elevate and to whom.

This is a hands-on, field-first role. Expect to spend 50-70% of your time on site. If you're happiest behind a desk, this isn't the right fit. If you like solving problems on active job sites with real constraints, it is.

What You Will Own

Execute site deployments. Travel to customer job sites to physically install and configure Odin's hardware (badge readers, cameras, turnstiles, enclosures, network equipment) and validate the software platform is working correctly for the site's specific configuration. When the job is done, you'll also be responsible for decommissioning hardware.

Coordinate with integrators and site teams. Work alongside third-party integrators, electricians, and the customer's general contractor to get equipment installed in the right locations, on the right schedule, without disrupting active construction.

Configure and test the platform on-site. Validate that workers can badge in, cameras are capturing, and data is flowing to the platform.

Train on-site staff. Train equipment ambassadors and other on-site personnel to use and perform basic maintenance on Odin's hardware, and cross-train fellow Odin field staff on troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot in the field. When hardware doesn't connect, a badge reader fails, a camera feed drops, or a turnstile jams, you diagnose and fix it on-site. When it's a software or platform issue beyond field resolution, you elevate cleanly to Engineering with the information they need to act remotely.

Document everything. Every site gets a deployment record: what was installed, where, how it's configured, what's non-standard, and what to watch. This feeds the deployment playbook and makes the next site faster.

Travel as the work requires. Implementations are on active construction sites across the country. You should expect 50-70% travel depending on the deployment calendar. When you're not on-site, you're prepping the next deployment, supporting remote troubleshooting, working with engineering on testing new equipment technology, and improving the install process.

Pre-configure and bench-test equipment. Work through the kinksbefore shipping to site to reduce on-site setup time.

What We're Looking For

2-5 years in field implementation, field engineering, installation, or technical deployment - a role where you physically went to sites and made technology work in real-world conditions.

Experience working with systems integrators / low-voltage security contractors or companies that install and service physical security and access control hardware.

You're comfortable on construction sites. You understand how active job sites operate, how to work around trades, and how to get things done without stepping on the GC's toes.

You're technical enough to configure and troubleshoot networking and hardware, and talk intelligently to integrators and engineers. You don't need to write code, but you need to understand how systems connect.

You're self-directed. On-site, you're often the only Odin person. You need to make good decisions, solve problems in real time, and know when to call for help.

You're willing to travel. This is not occasional travel - it's the core of the role. You're on-site for installs and go-lives regularly.

You're organized about handoffs. The site doesn't succeed because you were there - it succeeds because you left it in a state where others can run it.

Experience managing inventory.

Nice to Have

Experience in security management

Experience with access control systems, IP cameras, badge readers, turnstiles, or physical security hardware.

Low-voltage wiring, basic networking (VLANs, PoE, Wi-Fi), or familiarity with edge-compute devices.

Background in construction tech, data center deployments, or critical infrastructure.

Experience working directly with general contractors, site superintendents, or construction project managers.

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
