Job summary

RWDY Inc. in Carlsbad, NM is seeking an I&E Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and inspect instrumentation and electrical systems in a processing facility.

You will apply LOTO procedures, support field maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role reports to supervision and may stand in as Instrument and Electrical Lead when needed.

The job features a 14/14 schedule and per diem options.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls within a processing plant or offshore production facility.
• Familiarity with regulations applicable to oil and gas operations and facilities.
• Knowledge of OIMS systems, related manuals, and operating procedures.
• Ability to meet safety, administrative, and technical training requirements documented in the Operations Training Roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Plan, update, and oversee activities within assigned areas of responsibility with emphasis on health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, monitor, and inspect instrumentation, electrical, and control systems.
• Support field electrical maintenance activities and electrical isolation using LOTO procedures.
• Apply and follow work permits through the Permit to Work System (PTWS).
• Construct, monitor, and inspect new installations for consistency with operational requirements and recommend upgrades when necessary.
