Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking an I&C Commissioning Engineer to oversee the execution of all instrumentation and controls across their geothermal projects. The role requires leading I&C execution, defining commissioning procedures, and ensuring that all systems are tested and documented.

With a minimum of 7 years of experience and a strong understanding of DCS and SCADA systems, candidates must be comfortable with fieldwork and project travel. The position is based in Houston, TX, with additional responsibilities across various project sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in I&C commissioning in power generation.
• Hands-on experience with loop checks, instrument calibration, and verification.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and loop diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C commissioning for ORC turbine-generator package units.
• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans for I&C systems.
• Prepare I&C commissioning completion reports and handover packages.
