Job summary

Carrier is seeking an experienced Rental HVAC Service Technician to join our field service team in the Los Angeles area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, from chillers to boilers, while delivering professional customer service and promoting Carrier products.

This role requires 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Type 4 certification, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Type 4 - EPA Universal Certification
• 3+ years of Commercial HVAC experience
• Must lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid Driver's License
• Forklift Certification
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work overtime
• Experience with Windows operating systems, MS Outlook, IE or similar browsers

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC equipment and components
• Load/unload trucks and operate equipment vehicles including forklifts
• Provide excellent customer service while promoting Carrier products
• Maintain accurate field service reports and logs
• Start-ups and teardowns of HVAC systems
• Adhere to EHS protocols at all times
