Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is hiring an experienced Rental HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC systems in the field. You will manage field reports, operate equipment, and provide excellent customer service while promoting Carrier products.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Type 4 certification, and the ability to travel up to 50% with overtime. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Type 4 EPA Universal certification and 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Able to travel up to 50% and work overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Experience with air-cooled and water-cooled systems, hot water boilers, hydronics, piping, pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, and gas heaters.
• Proficient with Windows, MS Outlook, and common web browsers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment and components.
• Work on air-cooled and water-cooled systems up to 1000 tons and boilers up to 200 hp.
• Maintain accurate field service reports and timekeeping logs.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and other equipment; load/unload trucks.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and subcontractors.
• Support startup/teardown activities and other duties as needed.
