Job summary

Plimpton & Hills is seeking a driven Commercial Outside Sales Representative to grow business across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. You will identify new opportunities, expand relationships with contractors, facility managers, and commercial customers, and drive revenue growth in the HVAC, plumbing, and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in HVAC, plumbing, PVF, industrial distribution, mechanical contracting, or related industry
• Proven success developing new business and growing existing customer relationships
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing a sales territory and maintaining a structured sales pipeline

Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial business opportunities within an assigned territory
• Prospect, qualify, and secure new contractor, commercial, and industrial accounts
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities to support territory growth
• Achieve or exceed sales, revenue, and profitability goals
• Coordinate resources with branch teams to ensure timely project execution
