Job summary

Johnson Barrow is seeking a Tower Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and coat cooling towers and related systems in the field. You will work outdoors, adhere to strict safety standards, and travel to customer sites as needed.

The role requires 1–3 years in HVAC or industrial maintenance, safe tool handling, and a valid driver's license. Competitive hourly pay plus comprehensive benefits make this a rewarding field-based position in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service, or industrial equipment maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of cooling tower systems and components is a plus.
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Inspect cooling towers for water levels and quality and overall condition.
Perform routine maintenance on fans, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and related equipment.
Clean heat exchangers and tube bundles; apply coatings and perform repairs.
Diagnose performance issues and provide timely repairs.
Document inspections and work performed; ensure safety protocols are followed.
