Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Field HSE Supervisor to coordinate the facility’s Health, Safety and Environmental program and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety control implementation across operations, with responsibility for training and promoting safety awareness among associates.

Requirements include an associate degree in a related field (bachelor’s preferred) and 1+ years of safety experience, with OSHA certification favored.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field, or equivalent experience (1-3 years of direct/dedicated safety experience) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of safety experience (e.g., administration of site-based OSHA/DOT programs) required.
• OSHA or similar Safety Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning, administration, training, and enforcement of facility’s HSE program to ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations.
• Identifies hazards and assesses risk to HSE, involving individuals to identify safety controls and advising on accident prevention.
• Promotes occupational health and safety awareness throughout the facility.
• Conducts safety inspections of facilities, operations, and equipment to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
• Implements standard HSE support using tools provided by the Operations Excellence HSE Team.
• Conducts all necessary HSE Training, including new hire safety training and other on-site trainings.
• Reviews SOPs and develops Job Safety Analysis for each role within the site.
• Facilitates incident investigations and root cause analysis; presents findings and supports corrective actions.
• Assists Regional/ Campus HSE Managers with Safety Improvement Plan implementations and start-ups as needed.
• Monitors and provides expertise on the Logics Incident Module and opportunities for site improvement.

Education
