Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Field HSE Supervisor to promote health, safety and environmental excellence at sites nationwide. The role emphasizes inspections, training, incident investigations and continuous improvement to keep associates safe.

The position offers a national salary range of 55,000 to 90,000 USD, with higher pay in California and select locations, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of safety experience; administer OSHA/DOT programs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• OSHA or similar safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes occupational health and safety awareness throughout assigned facility.
• Conducts ongoing safety inspections of facilities, operations, and equipment to ensure compliance and safe working environment for associates.
• Implements standard HSE support using common tools provided by the Operations Excellence HSE Team.
• Conducts all necessary HSE Training, including new hire safety training and all other on-site trainings for both hourly and management associates.
• Reviews SOP and observes site roles; develops Job Safety Analysis for each role within assigned site.
• Facilitates incident investigations, root cause analysis; presents findings to Safety Manager and/or Functional Safety team for corrective actions.
• Assists Regional/Campus HSE Managers with Safety Improvement Plan implementations when necessary.
• Assists with start-ups, as necessary.
• Monitors and assists on the Logics Incident Module.
• Identifies improvement opportunities for the site and supports continuous improvement processes.
• Participates on assigned teams and/or projects, including site Health & Safety Committee.

The Field HSE Supervisor role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000. For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000. Required Education And Experience

• Associates degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field or equivalent experience (1-3 years of direct/dedicated safety experience), required
• Bachelor’s Degree in environmental, safety, industrial hygiene or related field, preferred
• 1+ years of safety experience (e.g., administration of site-based OSHA/DOT programs), required
• OSHA or similar Safety Certification, preferred
