Job summary
A leading utility contractor in Milwaukee is seeking a Health Safety & Environmental Coordinator to oversee HSE activities. This role requires 3+ years of experience in construction safety and the ability to conduct inspections, investigations, and implement HSE programs. Effective public speaking skills are essential as well as a willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to safety and quality.
Qualifications
OSHA 30hr (Construction) certification required or ability to obtain it.
Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Experience with Army Corps of Engineers projects is a plus.
Responsibilities
Conduct weekly job-site visitations and inspections.
Perform loss incident investigations and emergency responses.
Assist operations with compliance of HSE programs.
Skills
3+ years of experience as a safety professional in construction
Confident public speaker
Ability to identify and correct jobsite hazards
Comfortable with technology for HSE responsibilities
Education
Accredited degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Construction
