Job summary

A large utility contracting firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Health Safety & Environmental Coordinator to manage HSE activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in the construction industry, familiarity with OSHA standards, and strong public speaking skills. This role also involves conducting site inspections and facilitating safety training sessions. The position requires willingness to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a safety professional in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30hr certification for construction training, or ability to obtain.
• Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly job-site visitations and inspections.
• Perform environmental assessments and investigations.
