Field Hockey, Varsity Assistant Coach (SY 25-26)

High school Tuscarora is seeking a Field Hockey assistant coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The season runs from August to November.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
• Collaborate with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
• Perform duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the sports program.
• Suggest disciplinary actions for players violating rules and procedures.
• Foster a desire to win, good sportsmanship, personal pride, and pride for school and community among athletes.
• Perform other duties related to the assistant athletic coach position as requested by the high school principal or athletic director.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in high school or college level in the sport.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in a current course.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Prefer candidates with a Virginia Teaching License or full-time classified employment in Loudoun County Public Schools.
