Qualifications

Experience outdoors in extreme weather, at heights, and in confined spaces.
Able to read blueprints and welding procedures.
Basic math and tape measure proficiency.
TWIC card preferred or ability to obtain; Class D license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Plan layout, assembly, and welding tasks using knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
Lay out, position, align, and fit components.
Secure parts using bolts, clamps, and tack welds.
Set up and operate welding equipment for steel and aluminum (stick, arc gouging, gas welding).
Perform repairs and fabrication of heavy construction equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and coordinate with supervisor; document daily job details.
