Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Health & Safety Professional to manage safety at client project sites across the United States. This role enforces safety programs, conducts on-site orientation, and collaborates with project teams to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include directing safety on sites, administering policies, investigating incidents, and providing regular safety reports and training to personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience.
• The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• OSHA30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall health and safety direction on assigned projects sites.
• Administers the safety program at construction sites (policy manual, training, JSA).
• Documents accidents/incidents and near misses with proper reporting.
• Conducts accident/incident investigations to identify root causes and fixes.
• Plans and implements occupational safety training.
• Leads site safety planning and safety plan development.
• Maintains site safety documentation and regulatory reports.
