Job summary

Harris County Toll Road Authority seeks a Health & Safety Inspector to perform field safety inspections across construction projects and county facilities in Houston, enforcing the Worksite Safety Policy and OSHA standards.

Under supervision, you will document conditions, issue corrective actions, deliver training on hazard recognition and safe work practices, and coordinate with the Health and Safety Manager and project teams.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of construction safety experience including field inspection
• OSHA compliance monitoring and incident investigation
• Strong documentation and reporting skills required

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled/unannounced site safety inspections to ensure policy and OSHA compliance
• Notify stakeholders of safety violations and verify corrective actions
• Document site conditions and prepare inspection reports within five business days
• Provide training and guidance on safe work practices and PPE use
