Zusammenfassung

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Health Care Specialist to be the first line of defense against injuries and illnesses during disasters and for Soldiers daily readiness. You will provide emergency and ongoing medical care, manage medical readiness, and support medical supplies and equipment.

This role offers paid training, steady drill-pay, and opportunities to transition to civilian healthcare roles in hospitals, clinics, or EMS after service.

Qualifikationen

• Must be enlistment in Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements apply.

Aufgaben

• Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties.
• Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment.
• Instruct Soldiers on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training course.
• Manage Soldiers’ medical readiness, medical supplies, and equipment.
