DC Army National Guard is seeking a Health Care Specialist to provide emergency and ongoing medical care for civilians after disasters and for Soldiers. You will support medical readiness, manage supplies, and assist in training programs.

The role includes hands-on patient care, reference to EMT-level certification, and opportunities to pursue civilian medical careers in hospitals or clinics after service. Paid training and robust benefits accompany service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and a U.S. citizen.
• Must meet physical, moral, and legal standards.
• Must enlist in Army National Guard and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties.
• Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment.
• Instruct Soldiers on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training.
