Job summary

PUSH, Inc is seeking an experienced HDD Operator/Locator to install underground cable conduits using trenchless HDD methods. The role requires reading prints, coordinating with crews, and operating Vermeer or Ditch Witch equipment in rural and urban settings.

The position involves outdoor work, travel, and hands-on equipment maintenance while adhering to safety standards and company procedures. CDL is required.

Qualifications

• Work experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Ability to read prints and schematics and coordinate with HDD crews.

Responsibilities

• Operates Directional Bore equipment for underground cable conduit installations.
• Ensure proper steering based on job preparations and projections.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Abide by safety procedures and attend mandatory safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Assist with basic labor tasks and set up/cleanup of work site, including traffic control.
