Job summary

AGM is seeking a Field Glazer in the Indianapolis area to install storefronts, curtainwalls, entrances, and glass per company standards. You will read shop drawings and coordinate with supervisors to ensure precise fabrication and safe installation.

The role requires 3–5 years glazing experience, knowledge of glazing systems, and willingness to travel. This is a hands-on, on-site position focusing on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years glazing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of storefront, curtainwall, and entrance systems.
• Ability to read shop drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of glazing systems, hardware, glazing materials, sealants, adhesives, and installation practices.
• Valid driver's license preferred; willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Install storefronts, curtainwalls, entrances, and glass according to AGM standards.
• Interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings as required.
• Identify differences between storefront and curtainwall systems.
• Develop and cut materials from cut lists with limited supervision.
• Apply sealants, adhesives, and related materials as required.
• Maintain knowledge of glazing systems and installation procedures.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers and support a team environment.
