Job summary

AGM is seeking a Field Glazer to install curtainwalls, storefronts, and glass for service and contract projects. This role requires interpreting architectural drawings, selecting the correct glazing systems, and applying sealants.

You will work with various glazing products, use hand and power tools, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to deliver quality results on site.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; 3-5 years glazing experience preferred; OSHA safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install storefronts, curtainwalls, entrances, and glass according to AGM and manufacturer standards.
• Interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings as required.
• Identify the differences between storefront and curtainwall systems.
• Develop and cut materials from cut lists with limited supervision when required.
• Apply sealants, adhesives, and related materials as required.
• Maintain knowledge of glazing systems, hardware items, and installation procedures for various glazing products.
• Operate battery-powered and electric-powered hand tools safely and effectively.
• Support quality work on all assigned projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following company safety policies and jobsite requirements.
• Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers and embrace a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain professionalism and quality work while supporting company goals and customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
