Job summary

Actalent in Armonk, NY seeks a Survey Technician / GIS Technician to support field and office surveying, GIS data management, and mapping for infrastructure projects.

You will collect data with GPS and surveying equipment, maintain geospatial databases, and develop maps using ArcGIS and CAD software while collaborating with engineers and project managers. This is an entry-to-mid level role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 3 years in surveying, GIS, or related field.
• Experience collecting and processing field data with GPS/equipment/GIS applications.
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro / ArcMap or related geospatial platforms.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as Civil 3D / AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform field data collection for topographic surveys, utility mapping, asset inventories, and related geospatial projects.
• Collect, process, and maintain accurate survey and GIS data for maps, drawings, reports, and deliverables.
• Assist with utility investigations, infrastructure mapping, and spatial data verification.
