C.T. Male Associates, a multi-discipline surveying, engineering, and architectural firm in the Northeast, is seeking a detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our Latham, NY office.

You will prepare boundary, topographic, and utility maps, and assist with data analysis and field support using Trimble and AutoCAD Civil 3D tools. You will work with experienced professionals on diverse projects, benefiting from industry-leading technology, field data conversion, and a focus on accurate

Qualifications

• A.A.S. Degree in Surveying Technology or certificate with 3+ years of related experience.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Health and Safety training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boundary, topographic, utility, and other survey-related maps and exhibits.
• Perform contour plotting and assist with data analysis.
• Assist with preliminary boundary determinations under the guidance of Project Managers.
• Prepare field crew worksheets and project support materials.
• Conduct deed research and obtain survey-related information from municipalities, government agencies, utility companies, and other survey professionals.
• Understand and protract deeds, maps, and easements with all proper notations.
• Support field survey operations as needed, including preparation for field assignments.
• Download and process GPS and field data collection information using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
