Job summary

Terracon in Omaha is seeking a Geophysicist to perform a comprehensive range of geophysical technologies in support of geological, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing investigations. You will design surveys, analyze data, and provide interpretation to support the planning and construction of infrastructure such as roads, tunnels, airports, and water systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geophysics is required.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history may be required.
• Certification in field of expertise preferred based on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects.
• Understand and practice quality acumen.
• Support consistent quality standards on proposal and project delivery.
• Developing level Geophysicist responsible for conducting geophysical surveys.
• Performs site visits, field observations and field data collection.
• Assists in geophysical data collection and tests to evaluate and plan projects.
• Outlines required investigative programs by selecting appropriate techniques.
• Limited client contact may be required.
